Patricie recently reflected on her opportunity to spend time with Musimbi Kanyoro, the current President and CEO of the Global Fund for Women. Musimbi was also among the speakers at Revolution 2.0 in October!

Last month, I got the chance to spend a weekend with Musimbi Kanyoro, an extremely inspiring and accomplished woman. I was so amazed at how successful she is in all spheres of her life, and I could not be more humbled to learn directly from her as she openly shared her experience with me. We talked about what we cared about in life, experiences in life that led to where she is today, and many other things. We also enjoyed nice music and delicious home-made meals, plus a girls’ spa treat! I am always eager to meet successful women, and Musimbi just stands out as one that I will always remember! I told her that I wanted to be like her when I am her age. Saying that I left her home transformed to the deep core is an understatement. Also my weekend at Musimbi’s place was just a few days prior to my 25th birthday, so I felt reenergized and eager to keep pursuing my dreams! Knowing what potential and possibilities lie ahead in life is so exciting!
