Notably, Grace attended the Gashora Girls Academy in Rwanda where she took on many different leadership roles. She co-founded an empowerment club for younger girls, which later became a part of the United Nation’s Girl-Up Club. Later she served as an advisor for Girl-Up Gashora, which explores topics such as self-confidence, respect, public speaking, and health. After high school, Grace joined Idebate Rwanda, an organization that helps teenagers develop public speaking and critical thinking skills. Grace managed the budget and fundraising for her chapter, while also serving as liaison for the 20 other Idebate schools in Rwanda. Grace is a sophomore at Smith College, where she studies Politics.
