Ariane Irafasha attends Beloit College double majoring in Quantitative Economics and Health & Society with a minor in French. In the summer of 2021, she interned with SCAN Health Plan (a medicare advantage insurance company based Long Beach, California) as a strategy intern. During her time at SCAN Health Plan, she immersed herself in a project whose aim was to find different ways to differentiate SCAN from other medicare advantage plans that delivered senior services in the same region. Currently, she is studying abroad at University of Essex to further her studies. This summer Ariane is working as a people and culture intern at Exabeam.
At Beloit, she is involved with the Afro-Caribbean Society, Black Students United Club, French Club, and the International Students Club. Previously, she interned at Roots, Inc., a South Africa based organization that aims to educate the people of Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa on how to tackle real-life challenges through the screening of influential movies and documentaries. Before she joined SHE-CAN and came to the U.S., Ariane was part of the debate club, leader and founder of Spartans club and head-girl at her secondary school. Ariane hopes to use her U.S degree to sustain Rwanda’s development initiatives. |
