Janet Kwenah studies at Lafayette College. Since she was young, Janet has always looked for opportunities to gain more leadership experience. She has attained many certificates from leadership seminars and workshops hosted by the U.S. Embassy, Liberia Ministry of Gender and Children Protection Agency, among other institutions. She often represented her school at national and local public speaking and performance events for students. Janet also regularly appears on the ELBC (Liberia’s national radio station) Integrity Hour, where she talks about issues related to corruption in schools and how youth can fight against it. Janet is passionate about child development, which led her to start her own nonprofit called Think Kids Liberia, which invests in child advocacy and education. Janet hopes to be an advocate for children, and hopes to study sociology with a focus on child development at Lafayette.
