Rina Ntagozera is the Advisor to the Minister in Rwanda's Ministry of Trade and Industry in Kigali, Rwanda. Previously she served as the Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. In 2016, she earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies with a concentration in peace, justice and human rights from Haverford College. During the summer of 2015, Rina interned with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rwanda, the department in which she now works. That fall, Rina was awarded a study abroad scholarship from the Danish Institute of Study Abroad to study in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Before college, Rina attended Lycee de Kigali and served as a teacher’s assistant for Rwanda’s first program for students with special needs as well as an administrative assistant for the Rwanda Cricket Association. Additionally, as a top student and leader, she was the captain of Rwanda’s National Women’s Cricket Team and continued to play in college on Haverford's varsity squad. |
