About the University of San Francisco
The University of San Francisco is one of 28 Jesuit Catholic colleges and universities in the United States, and aims to be a reflection of the city it inhabits — progressive, entrepreneurial, diverse, and passionate. USF provides students from all backgrounds an education that is intensely personal and intellectually demanding.
USF students see the world with a sense of awe and wonder, and with a curiosity for answers to the world’s most complex questions. Students of all faith backgrounds — or with no religious affiliations — contribute to the diversity of perspectives and experiences that are essential to our truly global education (University of San Francisco - Who We Are, San Francisco Advantage). Partnership
The University of San Francisco joined the Coalition in 2018. At USF, our SHE-CAN scholars will be able to explore the intersections of reason, religion, science, and spirituality. USF offers our scholars the choice of over 100 majors and minors, all while emphasizing the importance of service and caring for each of its students as a whole person. With a campus in the heart of San Francisco, USF is the first SHE-CAN Coalition school to be located in the Bay Area —practically in our own backyard!
