Power To Fly Volunteer Corps Launch
On July 15, we officially launched the SHE-CAN Power To Fly Volunteer Corps. Members shared their experiences supporting scholars, mentors, and SHE-CAN staff. And, our newest SHE-CAN scholars were also there to tell us about their community projects that were guided by Power To Fly Corps Pilot Members. Class of 2021 Commencement
On April 22, we hosted our 4th Annual Community Celebration. Five of our amazing scholars stole the show with their lightning TED Talks, and we honored two graduating seniors with the “Lisa SuperNoma Award” which is given each year to the brightest light and role model for other SHE-CAN scholars. Congratulations to Aidy Ung & Diane Ingabire!
We also celebrated the release of our first ever Annual Report, which you can view here.
